Nokia Lumia 900 announced at CES for US market

So here we go again!

update From Nokia Conversations blog

A multi-titled stage for Nokia’s keynote at CES!

Nokia unleashed its new device, the Lumia 900 at CES just a couple of minutes ago.

It’s the third WP device in the portfolio, will use AT&T’s 4G LTE network, and sports a 4.3-inch AMOLED screen that’s direct evolution (in size) of the ones on the Lumia 800 and the N9.

Killer features are a really good Carl Zeiss camera with an F2.2 aperture lens with a 28mm focal length, a front-facing camera looking just great, with a polycarbonate case in black or blue.

Specs aside, this device signals several things: firstly, that Nokia is serious about the US, launching the flagship Lumia device in the US before the rest of the world; secondly, that Nokia has the clout with Windows Phone to allow it to be first to market with an LTE device; thirdly, that AT&T is now seriously into the business of offering LTE phones; last but not least the rumored 200m dollar marketing campaign is rumored to be very very big and confirms the seriousness of this effort.

More to come soon (new press photos and other things)!

Rolling thunders for Nokia in 2012 if these are the premises!

is it possible for the camera to be as good as the one on nokia n8’s – when Lumia is so thin?

  2. the camera is only 8mp :( but the lens is very wide.

I don’t know yet the real quality as no shots have been published yet :(
