I don’t know how many of you guys have been following Nokia lately, but I do, and it happens that I do like a lot their latest campaigns, specially the last ones made for the new Nokia N9 and Nokia Lumia 800.
The first one features a lot of small short movies, if you can call them so, or better short ads. These short ads are inspired by the swipe gesture implemented in the interface of the new Nokia N9, and they are quite cool.
The agency Luxus was contacted to craft the beautiful yet simple and direct campaign for the new N series phone, and they succeeded brilliantly. These are some of the videos they crafted for the campaign:
I find these videos very inspiring and I think that they capture quite well the essence of the experience behind the advertised product.
Another video I wanted to share is this video of the Nokia Lumia 800, not because the video per se, but because of the catchy tune playing as background music:
The song is by a cool band, or better, by a cool dj, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. He is quite a cool guy who likes to wear fancy stuff on his head during the performances:
